A description of my smallest survival kit. This is video 1 of 3. Enjoy.
Short intro to the different survival kit’s I use in the wilderness. More detailed description of each kit coming soon. Enjoy
In the wilderness one of the most important skills is to make your own fire. By using a cotton ball soaked in petroleum gel and packed in tinfoil, you will have a reusable fire starter which can burn for more than 15-20 min.
On a 5 week Primitive Living Skills course in Arizona 2009, Sam (from UK) and I climbed Humphreys Peak and started a fire with a hand drill. Tough job. Didn’t work until the third try, but it was worth it. And the view was great 🙂
