I think the headlamp is very comfortable to wear and has a good and powerful brightness when taking the weight and size into account.
It is also quite nice that you can mount it on MOLLE compatible webbing or elsewhere.
I am not so happy that it is so difficult to open the battery cover, but a positive thing is that it does not open accidentally.
The Fred can easily be used as your primary headlight, since it has a good battery life for the different levels of intensity.
